Ya ya ya, I hate goal setting too. In the past I’ve felt very much that I was setting myself up for failure. Either, I’d pick things that I knew I could accomplish so it wasn’t really a goal or I’d go too big and then feel like crap if I didn’t hit them. Damned if you do dammed if you don’t. But in 2022 I broke the rules and made some intangible/ immeasurable goals and they actually were really helpful. So, here we are, a week away from 2023 and here are my goals:
- Keep up with drinking water first & walking daily
This is one I set for myself in 2022 and I was… ok at. It’s something that feels so simple and yet is kinda hard. - Finish products before buying a new one (or at least almost finish!)
Keeping up with managing my inventory in my household, I try reeaaallllyy hard with this one and let me tell you it certainly saves money and space! - 100 Peleton rides
This was a leftover from 2022’s goals. I got to a little over 50 rides and then I got injured and got out of the habit. Next year, I’d love to keep working towards this goal! - Organize the big stuff
I’d like to get my garage, linen closet, and baby stuff (Link’s stuff that he’s grown out of) organized. These are the last big 3 spaces that need some love after our move. - Use my air fryer or get rid of it
This is a silly one but I got an air fryer from my Buy Nothing group in- omg- May and I still haven’t used it. I need to look up the directions and give it a try. Either I’ll like it and use it or out it goes! P.S. If you have one of these types of situations I encourage you to do the same! - More outside time and adventures
I always want to spend more time outside and exploring new places where far or near. Keep it coming life. - Read 50 books
Hefty goal but I think I can do it! - Back to the blog
I’ll be the first to admit I got a little big for my britches here. I wanted to do too much. Started the blog, then insta and YouTube. After taking some time off for the holidays I realized, I don’t have time for it all. I was half-assing all 3 when I should be full-assing one (all while paying attention my family and health and home and and and…). So after thinking it through I’ve decided I’m going to put my focus back into this blog! Sorry to all my subscribers on Youtube, but I know it’s too much for me and my family. I’m going to keep the channel up- who knows, one day maybe the channel will resurface.
That’s all folks! What are your goals for the new year?
