I loved this little book. There’s a strong cozy feeling to Solstice and we’re getting set up to dive deeper into some of the ACOTAR characters I find the most interesting! All set up and ready for the last (for now?) book of the series!

Better late than never right? October was full of travel… A LOT of travel. I’m talking 5 states in 4 weeks 😅. Too that off by getting Covid at the end and there wasn’t as much reading. But I read some good, some bad and some yucky!

It feels weird to go back to regularly scheduled programming but we need to keep moving forward…

Book review: Business Casual by BK Borison
What a perfectly autumnal romance to kick off the season. I’ve heard about the world of Lovelight Farms from my book club girlies and for some reason this is the first of the series I’ve read. The good news is, you can read them out of order! Of course it does give away the couples (not that you don’t know that they end up together when you start a romance) but the plot is completely able to stand on its own.

This story is written in- my favorite- dual POV between Charlie and Nova. Charlie is a button down Armani shirt, Rolex, business guy from NYC and Nova is an inked up, feisty, independent to a fault tattoo artists opening her tattoo shop in her home town of Inglewild.

Everything about this book was just dreamy from the sexy tattoos to the cinnamon bun MMC. I loved the banter and the spice level was just right (closer to spicy than not if you’re concerned). A perfect book to bring me from my summer reading into the cozy fall reads.

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

Read if: 🎃 you love small town fall, 👔 you find power suits sexy as hell, 💪 you’re an independent gal that has a hard time letting people take care of her (couldn’t be me 👀 lol)
